Business / Org / Teams
What’s happening right now?
Is your organization navigating a complex transition?
Has your board and team lost alignment?
Do you need intentionality around culture creation?
Wondering if cohesion and collaboration could be better?
Is there an undercurrent of conflict?
Have a “problem person”?
Are team members hesitant to give or receive feedback?
Employees do not LOVE coming to work?
Is business thriving, and you would like your collaborators and customers to experience an amazing level of care from your team?
What if what is happening is not the problem, it’s actually the pathway to what could be?
When something is amiss, support that includes everyone involved can lead to transformation.
We believe the time is always right for intentional investment in team culture and structures to support change and conflict.
When power differences are seen and understood they can inform how we move forward rather than impacting people and causing disconnection.
What initially looks like an impasse, conflict, or toxic culture, through our work, can actually become the catalyst for understanding and systemic change. We can increase trust, productivity, effectiveness and job satisfaction.
Outcomes we work for:
Trust
Skills to Communicate in Ways Maintain Connection
Culture of Welcoming for All Voices and Perspectives
Team Members Grounded in Shared Values
Skills and Methodology to Rebuild when Trust is Compromised
Reframing of Conflict as an Opportunity - Not a Threat
Approach to Conflict, Fostering Reactive and Complex Problem-Solving
An authentic way forward. Often, going straight at the problem is not the answer; slowing down and building trust is a critical step. We start where you are, and when our work is done, you will have the skills to independently navigate difficulties differently, in real time.
We offer a range of services to meet various needs. We also customize our services so that we can meet your particular needs.
We partner with you to decide whether we manage the process as a whole, or we support you to do so - whatever will serve you best.

Conflict on your team?
Conflict can be a valuable agent of change, leading to both personal and organizational transformation.
However, brain science shows that if our nervous system is dysregulated, it is very challenging to show up for conflict with care and creativity. Without agreements about how to engage the conflict, it can easily become a stumbling block, stalling productivity, sapping energy and eroding trust. In these moments, we offer third-party facilitating, supporting communication and understanding, so that creative problem-solving becomes possible.
Our approach combines the principles of Restorative Justice and Nonviolent Communication. We help teams and individuals to slow down, so they can look at the problem together. We help team members to get to the heart of what they need, and to more easily connect with the needs of others. We equip teams with strategies for speaking and deep listening, so that real understanding takes place, and new ways forward emerge. In these ways, we support conflict to become a catalyst for systems change, trust, productivity, effectiveness and job satisfaction.
“What it offered us was a really safe, brave space to truly acknowledge the baggage of emotions that each of us was carrying, in our person, in our role. It gave us the opportunity to really hold our truths, our experiences, and to bring it all, while holding space for others and the team to do so as well. We had the opportunity to really speak, here, and be heard by each other, in a very nonviolent, safe, brave space. The intention was to recenter each of our humanity, and build back the fabric of our team.”

Most teams believe strongly in the service they provide. In fact, for some team members, it’s a personal passion. However, if we fail to build and renew the conditions that move us towards these goals, our work together can begin to feel disjointed, exhausting, perplexing, or even contentious. Teams who take time to talk not only about what they are trying to accomplish, but also how they want to be together and work together, are much more effective.
The good news is that trust-building and conscious culture-creation are always possible, and benefit from renewal.
We support teams to build trust by helping them to
develop or update shared values
identify or update agreements and practices in order to embody their values
create a restorative system for working with conflict, feedback and accountability
acknowledge and navigate power differentials
welcome diverse perspectives and lived experiences
