With all that we are facing in our country and broadly in the world, it is easy to despair and lose hope. Nonviolent Communication, compassionate self-care and restorative interactions with others are for me the most effective and often the only way transformative change is possible. And Seriously, we need transformation!
I have been excited to step into bold work with schools, companies and organizations, both in public and private sectors, to support systemic change, and in ways that expand awareness and result in increased inclusion and creative outcomes. We work within the prison system listening to the human needs and designing training that supports mutual healing and communication skill building. I cannot express how impactful these skills and tools are when the consciousness of values is upheld. Please join me/us in bringing this out into the world. There has never been a more pressing time for us to hear each other, and to fully embrace the possibility of Restorative work.
Because of this longing for change where we are, in our homes and in our conversations, A Center is offering more training for the public than ever before. Please register and share this opportunity with others.

Expanding and Embodying Nonviolent Communication
Do you experience grief and tension about the current political climate? Do you have concern about what’s happening internationally? Would you benefit from a place to find care and rest, as well as learning how to deepen your resources so you can show up holding your values with integrity for conversations and action.. Then this weekend will serve you well.
If you just are wanting a space for care and rest, within community, with skill building and deepening in compassionate living, this weekend will also serve you well.
Each Deepening NVC series is unique in that we develop the learning dependent on the needs participants bring to the space. We may work on what self empathy and care look like, and we may choose to focus on power and what gets in the way of getting what we want… It’s all up to you. The 2 days will create a space to find grounding, learn skills to engage with personal agency, and to have deeper connections- in person.
We meet for 2 days for a mix of teaching, experiential exercises and practice of being together in community with compassionate awareness. Bring your curiosity, and engage in explorations of how NVC can contribute to our growing understandings of how we both frame the world, and have agency for social change.
