A Center for Restorative Solutions
Serving the Greater Seattle Area and beyond
"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeing new sights, but in looking with new eyes." – Marcel Proust.
Relationships are the bedrock of our personal and collective wellbeing. So whether at work, home, or in public, generative communication is vital to our lives! It is also natural for all relationships to have conflict; indeed, conflict can be an opportunity to deepen our trust and collaborate in more inclusive ways. However, we all know that conflict doesn’t always unfold exactly like that…
Often, when we experience our needs not being met, and we hear that some of what we did caused distress for others, it can become confusing, painful and disconnecting. This IN-PERSON intro to Nonviolent Communication offers a pathway for connecting with ourselves and others that can allow for greater connection, inclusion, and collaboration. We will also practice transforming shaming and blaming narratives into understanding and agency.
Looking forward to exploring NVC consciousness with you!
Warmly,
Pam Orbach, Facilitator & Host

Relating to Ourselves and Others in a Values-Aligned Way
In this training, we will lay the foundation for communicating and living in a way that aligns the choices you make with your values. The practice and consciousness underlying NVC honors your needs while allowing you communicate in ways that are compassionate and caring.
Throughout the two days, we will explore aspects of the NVC skillset. We will learn and practice together, as well as in our everyday lives. We will be present to whatever arises from the learning, and we will attend to whatever needs are in the room.
There are no prerequisites for this training; an open heart, and a longing for connection and growth, is all that you need. Join us in this collaboration.
Whether you are a newbie or you would enjoy practice, you are welcome. Brain science confirms that practicing the skills increases our fluency outside of the training, so that we can embody NVC consciousness in various contexts. Every Intro series is rich and different, as there is always more depth to get to when sitting in the simplicity. I grow and deepen with each series...
